Westgate AerialWESTGATE TOWN CENTER
Glendale, Arizona

Westgate Town Center is a dynamic new mixed-use project, both literally and figuratively a living oasis of light, sound and energy. The heart of the project is a vibrant stretch of retail, dining and entertainment connected directly to the NHL Phoenix Coyotes' new home, an 18,000-seat, state-of-the-art multi-purpose arena. This new downtown will truly become the live, work, play community example for the greater Phoenix area. The Town Center is divided into five districts: Destination Retail, Neighborhood Retail, Garden Office, Loft District, and the Entertainment District. The Entertainment District serves as the heart of Westgate and is anchored at the south by the Coyotes arena and a 30-screen Theater and Arts Center to the North. This district will be the home of six 15-story office buildings, 3 hotels, six 10-story retail/residential lofts, and the center's event lawns. The First Phase of this project was delivered to the client one month early and on budget. Phase Two opened spring of 2005.

KapoleiKAPOLEI MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT
Kapolei, Hawaii

The East Kapolei Commercial site will serve as the foundation for the future growth of the community and a strong influence in the success of the University of Hawaii’s West Oahu Campus. Our vision for the property is a 1.5 million SF regional center providing retail, office and entertainment venues in a “new urbanism” environment. As Ala Moana and Pearl Ridge serve as hubs of retail, social and community activities for the Honolulu and Leeward Oahu, so too will this project serve as the community center for the Ewa Plain and West Oahu communities. In addition, it will be a “green project” that contributes positively to the environment and utilizes the latest in energy and environmentally sensitive design elements.

bishopsTHE BISHOPS SCHOOL
La Jolla, California

Tucker Sadler Architects completed master planning services in Spring 2002 for The Bishops School, located in La Jolla, California. The new master plan is intended to help guide development for the next 10-20 years.

The 700-student private school, whose original campus buildings were constructed in 1909, was designed by San Diego architect Irving Gill, San Diego’s most historically important architect. The original buildings are the second larges Gill projects in existence. The master plan provides for a new parking garage below the existing athletic field, a new science building, multi-purpose building, new library and interior remodeling of existing buildings on campus, and an expansion of the pool, doubling its size to 75 by 95 feet.

Del Mar, California

Tucker Sadler has completed the master plan of the Del Mar Fairgrounds, a year-long process involving extensive planning logistics and public interface. The 200 acre site, located adjacent to an ecological preserve, houses one of the nation’s premier thoroughbred racing tracks and one of the most successful county fairs in the western United States.

The master plan study analyzes existing uses of the property from functional logistics, economic and environmental points of view, and projects ahead with development recommendations for the next 15 years.
